Cheryl’s Memorial…
« on: September 01, 2024, 08:20:52 pm »
Oh Miles…last night’s memorial for Cheryl, that you hosted, pulled at our heart strings. It was very touching. You reading out loud some of the words people wrote on the Forum was very moving. The poem you recited that Jon posted was beautiful. Your song choices were impeccable. So many of her friends dropped by. She was loved! NG gave us a little insight into Cheryl’s life & their friendship. Miss P quoted some of the funny things she said. Cute stories and memories from different people were shared. Heartfelt voice messages were also played. The final touch was the last song, ‘The Prayer’ sung by Andrea Bocelli & Celine Dion. It definitely opened the flood gates. What a perfect ending to a lovely evening in memory of Cheryl. Miles, she would have loved it! ❤️

brava kitty. i didn`t know cher as well as some but she was one of those people that you loved seeing when you logged in :)

it was obvious by the amount of nutbags and oddballs that turned up that she was loved. her best attribute was that when we started laughing at her blurts she`d laugh with us :)

miles, as ever, was all class
