I was just wondering...

When/if  the Group owner leaves (quits) what happens to the group as far as management goes? Can a Manager "move up" and become the Group Owner in that instance? I've seen many groups started in the Lifestyles and Roleplay areas that have the Owners leave, and there's no one but Members left, so the Group kinda dies with no leadership.

In Gorean RP, one of the rules is that if a character is killed, they can't return to the old room/group. If the Character was the Room/Group Originator, that affects more than that one person.

I hope I'm not being a pest with this question, and I thank y'all in advance with any answers in response to it.

Respectful Regards,

most times the owner if killed in Gor forgets to promote Someone or does not believe anyone can lead in their place. the smart thing to do is to have an owner, Manager and a few moderators so this way the Group is not that quick to die. Hope that helps

Mortimas, the way the groups in Buzzen are currently structured, there can be only one........Owner, even an Owner of a group cannot promote another person to become and Owner.......That is what Maddie is asking......can Buzzen facilitate the change of Ownership? I hope that helps clarify the question for you.

true but they can promote others to be Administrators or Moderators that can run the group...and that can keep the group going.. if they feel That only they can do it well groups die off. small thing to promote others...otherwise home much did one care for the site or the subject to begin with

There are certain Administrative functions that only an Owner can do, and No, they can't raise another member to the level of Group Owner at this point in time due to the technical settings of the group.
