Tarn Racing.
The races will take place either in Ven’dara, for the Harvest Festival there, or the alternative venue of Helisto.

The competitors for the race are chosen by Goreans, Free or slave. We need at least another five entries, so please post Y/your ‘fancy’ in the format shown by the seven entries so far received below:
Aiken fancies – Sigmus of Treve – riding Trailblazer – a Veteran rider – colours red, green and blue - Sigmus is semi retired, and is riding in this race as a farewell to His many supporters.
Talarius fancies - Pelop of Rarir - riding Sigurd’s Hammer - A Veteran rider - colours red and green - Pelop has been on the circuit some years now but has failed to fulfil his early promise since the death of his first tarn, Dara’s Dart. Though originally from Helisto he’s now a journeyman tarn racer but he does just well enough to make a living from the sport.
Khalid fancies - Gorin of Tor - riding Tors Pride – a Novice rider - colors blue and white
Kyna fancies - Concobhar of Treve – riding Scarlet Rain – a Champion rider – colours scarlet and black - rumored to be the son of Rask of Treve, he was born to be a tarnsman, though his relationship with his father can be described as strained at best. Concobhar has a reputation for wooing tarns and women, and a fondness for drink. Though he claims the scarlet caste, he is a bit more leisurely in his pursuits, yet he was the last grand champion of the races in Ar.
Penelope fancies - Cameron Churlish of Talmont – riding Dolemite - a Novice rider – colours dark grey field with three Gold slashes - the first of His graduating class in the new Tarn Rider school, Cam shows great promise...in theory. Can He bring the Cup home in His first year on the circuit?
cheeky fancies - Baron Hemacticus of Besnit – riding Blackwing - a Veteran rider – colours purple and gold – a regular competitor in the races of Ar, Argentum, and sometimes Tarnburg. He's never taken the gold cup, but He places well, and is a fierce competitor.
Robak fancies - Taruk Dunnbar of the Hold – riding Fred - a Champion rider - colour scarlet
