I don't hardly ever say things like this because it's not kind, and gives at the least the room a bad name, but I strongly suggest avoiding Boswell Pass because of the hostility of the host. I came in tonight to apologize to the man for the opinion expressed in the first Boswell Pass blog, because how was he to know I didn't like dancing. But this? I didn't even get to rp an entrance, put in an ooc hello, wait don't shoot, or anything.
So, I ask my fellow Gorean roleplayers to avoid this room, and to stay away from this person and his property, and those he associates with. Sadly some of those people are my friends, and I am very reluctant to make people choose between friends....so I won't, but this sort of thing is a very serious issue and needs to be addressed. I ask that people try their rp elsewhere, there are lots of empty rooms nowadays to occupy and be in character. One does not have to be in a place where one needs to be afraid that if he or she says or does the wrong thing they get a ban for a day or for life.
I'm sorry. I don't like calling this sort of thing down, and I know those who are in favor of this sort of behavior and those that sympathize...or are brainwashed into sympathizing...will pat him on the back and say how horrible I was for doing nothing at all this time, and how dare I represent the old ways unashamedly while I was at it (though I never got a chance to), and suchlike. I did nothing wrong here. But, this is what happens to people that "mess up the mood" in Haiganland.
So again, I politely and strongly ask my fellow roleplayers to stop going to this room, and to keep their friends from doing so. Most of the people I know don't go there, and that's fine, but there are others that do, and need to be warned to avoid it. Spread this around, keep other people from feeding this bad behavior, and keep your roleplay drama free.
