After stopping by the Red silk Tavern and paying for the damages I headed back to the tarn cot to pick up Stealth…I tossed the keepers a few tarn discs…hopped aboard…pulling on the reigns…The Bird lifted off and we took a pattern of due south from Port Karr
Arriving on Katoteros in less than a ahn…Stealth knew right where to go and landed at our Cavern…It was Home and we enjoyed the safety of being nestled betwixt mountain peaks.
We brought back as much supplies as we were able including salt and meat…as we sat near the land bridge eating I thought about our trip to Port Kar and wondered about buying that Paga Den…It would be nice to have a place off the Island to go to….Maybe Jacobed would be partner with me in this venture… well we shall see perhaps it would be a good thing, perhaps not…
I kept thinking about that cave behind the great waterfall and curiosity took hold of my imagination so I arose the next day early and made my way to the falls…as I approached the loud rushing of the falling water I saw a small place to slip inside and behind without getting knocked over…once inside I saw a deep cavern which had been built,,,it did not appear a natural thing at all…so agin the question arose in my mind …Who did this and why?
The tunnel was narrow and had shelves cut into the wall…my torch allowed me to follow the path but it seemed to get more narrow as I walked along…until I came to a place where the shaft divided following upward.
Taking the left pathway it led slowly upward for about ½ a pasang then widened out to a staircase and a door. I slowly walked down the staircase till I reached the door and thought to myself.
What is behind that door?
