As I entered the main house people were running from room to room and all over the grounds…They were yelling for Harper, I grabbed one of the slaves as they ran by and I asked sternly.. “What the hell is going On and where is Harper”….the girl stopped and appeared frightened… “Lady Harper is missing..she did not return home last night and everyone is worried” I let the girl go and my thoughts were filled with images of possibilities…none of them good…I found Jacobed and He told me that Harper was last seen by Her Mother who had told her to go home but she fears that Harper went to the docks to find her Father, But she never arrived…Now I was very concerned and I told my friend to end the search here and to gather our men to begin the search around the dock area…
I divided the men into search units and sent them to specific places around the docks..their task was to question anyone they found as to our missing girl and if they had seen anyone that looked like the girl they would describe. Jacobed and I took four men each and we joined the search.
At the same time our situation was taking place the fleet from Helisto arrived at Katoteros Island right on schedule from Teletus.
I had placed 20 of our guards on the Island to protect the loaded crates…When Talarius and Aiken arrived and landed in small vessels with many of the crew as well as some of the elite force I had trained they went to work brining the crates from Ghost City through the jungle to the beach and onto the small boats and onto a ship…it took them 3 days to finish the work and everyone was glad to get off of that accursed place.
Where was Harper...we had been searching for 3 days and there was no sign of Her...the Family was losing hope of ever finding Harper...believing now she had been captured and sold to a slaver...she might even be on a ship somewhere....it was a somber and depressed mood throughout the house...We had gone to the Red silk several times and talked to the girls...but there was no sign of mara and no sign of Harper...I began to feel that somehow the two had something to do with each other, they were connected and I was sure of it. I discussed with Jacobed my suspicions and warned Him that if mara had anything to do with Harpers disappearance I would kill her...Jacobed swore to me that mara...the mara He loved would never harm His cousin...Would She???
Then on the morning of the fourth day the men found a girl hiding near the docks and they captured her,tied her up and dragged her roughly to the house and tossed her on the floor in front of Me...I instructed them to untie her but keep her from escaping...I told the girl she could be killed if she made any move I did not like....she moved to a slave tower position and agreed... What is your name girl?....I am called ~~ebediyet~~personal bond to Onak the Jarl of Hunjer Isle I lost Him last year and the last communication I had with Him was that He was coming to Port Kar and would send for me...I came here looking for Him but have not found Him I am working at the Red Silk...I looked her over and noticed she was indeed a northern bond in her dress and speech...I asked her the only question that mattered and her answer changed our lives forever...
