Hi Elizabeth. Allow me to pop in here and say I've been enjoying your blog posts very much. The subject matter in each one is both unique and interesting. Your descriptive skills paint detailed scenes without overdoing it. The theme of ‘Resonance and Ruin’ was certainly thought-provoking! I wanted to go check for cookies while reading 'A Harvest of Hearth and Heart'! Well done.
Thank you so much for the compliment, it really does mean a lot. But you do have good taste already, Neil Youngs 'Harvest Moon' one of my all time favorites. Thank you again, peace & love, Liz
p.s. Harry Nilssons "Lazy Moon" (( nudge, nudge ))
Hi Liz! Thanks for the 'nudge'. I hadn't heard Harry N. singing that one before. YouTube is one of my favourite apps. It shows that 'Lazy Moon' has also been sung by, (of all people), Oliver Hardy in 1931.
So many songs and poems about the moon! More so than about the Sun, don't you think? Maybe because we can actually gaze on it and that it's changeable.
Glad you like Neil Young's 'Harvest Moon' too.
Definitely a talented writer and I look forward to every new blog that you post...keep up the fantastic work
You're welcome Duke. And please check out my friend Nalani's group too, Prose and Portals...great stuff there too!
