About Me

A little more about Kyrielle.

Profile created for gorean role play.

~*~

I am a woman. A  beautiful  free   woman.

 *

 My history.....

...my story.  My ancestral Anasazi tribe were plucked from the desert southwest of Arizona, hundreds of years ago and relocated to the planet Gor. We made our lives here, at the headwaters of the Upper Fayeen River. Their lands, including the sweetest village ever created, are close " enough" to my lands, my home close " enough" to theirs.

*

And who am I?

I am......Lady Kyrielle. My name was chosen by my mother, the Queen (now deceased) of the Anasazi tribe,  for its form of a poem named "a Kyrielle" . My name was then formally accepted by my father, King of the Anasazi who has walked alone ever since the death of his Queen .

My Caste is Scribe.....

It is said the quill is mightier than the sword. I have both.

My weapons:

# 1

Quills, ink & parchment .

#2

A silver Koftgari hilted bidi sword, 32 inches in total, the blade length 26 inches, was crafted for me,  lighter in weight, very feminine and very pretty, unlike so many others.  Cartouches are etched on both sides of the silver scabbard which envelopes the blade, and there it rests when not in use, nesting snuggly down the center of my back.

A vital  part of my life here  in the Voltai's is spent in  observing  the byssus clam. I know intuitively and precisely when the byssus is ready and ripe,  to collect from the sea. I do not collect it every year. Often as not,  decades will pass before I collect it again. The byssus clam takes time to renew itself. When I do harvest,  I do so enmasse so as not to upset the snails with needless upsetting harvest visits. They are living creatures, after all and deserve to be treated gently and with respect. Once harvested I swiftly begin the process of crafting it into  thread, then the thread into cloth. I  dye it and design it into art and /or garments, per requests I receive from my family and others in the cities where the Upper Fayeen ends and the deserts begins.

*

When not working  nothing is more peaceful than walking these  lands, climbing to the peaks of the Voltai mountains, visiting family and observing all the orchards, and vines.  Occasionally I  visit Ven'dara, time and weather permitting.

*

The end,

Amen.
