 My history.....

...my story.  My ancestral Anasazi tribe were plucked from the desert southwest of Arizona, hundreds of years ago and relocated to the planet Gor. We made our lives here, at the headwaters of the Upper Fayeen River. Their lands, including the sweetest village ever created, are close " enough" to my lands, my home close " enough" to theirs.

And who am I?

I am......Lady Kyrielle. My name was chosen by my mother, the Queen (now deceased) of the Anasazi tribe,  for its form of a poem named "a Kyrielle" . My name was then formally accepted by my father, King of the Anasazi who has walked alone ever since the death of his Queen .

It is said the quill is mightier than the sword. I have both.

A silver Koftgari hilted bidi sword, 32 inches in total, the blade length 26 inches, was crafted for me,  lighter in weight, very feminine and very pretty, unlike so many others.  Cartouches are etched on both sides of the silver scabbard which envelopes the blade, and there it rests when not in use, nesting snuggly down the center of my back.

I  harvest byssus .....

....... from the sea about once every ten years. Such begins its new life. I  clean it,  craft it into thread, thread  into cloth, all created on a massive loom I'd purchased from Perrin a hundred years or so ago.  I fell in love with his looms. They were beautiful . He assured me a loom is absolutely, positively not a  piece of art one falls in love with, it is a weaving machine designed to be of great use by creating cloth. That cloth into  garments, tapestries, bedding materials, and so on. At the end of the day,  I've learned my lessons well.  I can and do create cloth  against the backdrop of  many clothing requests from my family. Only then, when everyone is well and happily dressed, will I create for others in the cities, where the Upper Fayeen ends and the deserts begins. Once in a while I will create a tapestry, if you wish, to your specifications.  But only if you promise not to hover over my shoulder while I work.

 I occasionally  indulge myself in walking  these  lands of mine, time permitting, often climbing to the peaks of the Voltai mountains and down the other side, just to see if I can.

 I have come to terms with the reality of my responsibility to  rule Ven'dara, as Cabot so clearly wanted I do on his verified death. This  has been acknowledged, and strongly encouraged by my equals of High Caste.

My responsibilities are to assist citizens and none citizens alike in having a good experience here, answer any questions you may have, ensure you are well fed, that you know where the free men, & free women's bathing facilities are, have a slave (NPC at this time) who knows how to tend your garments, should they require a good cleaning and mending from your journey,  have a good bed to sleep on if you decide to overnight. There might be more things that are important. I am  certain I'll  discover them when and if  I need to "turn to face"  

 The over night guest rooms upstairs of the Great Hall will continue to  remain for only those of High Caste at my specific  offering.

Buffett supper continues every evening for all, citizens and visitors. This does NOT include slaves, I don't care who owns you. 

Ven'dara will  remain safe zoned. It's just better that way.
