the person who introduced me to Gor told me not to venture to other rooms that others were full of shit a lot of things didn't make register to me so one day I ventured to an out law den and I sat at a fire and was taught I wasn't condemned for my lack of knowledge. Gor is based on a series of science fiction books written by John Norman and his son with the Majority of them written By John Norman and only three written by his son? I disagree, My opinion of course. .....plus sharing this because I did not know His real Name was John Lange. John Norman, real name John Lange, was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1931. His best known works, the Gor novels, span 31 books written 1967 to 2012, plus three installments of the Telnarian Histories, two other fiction works and a non-fiction paperback.

I feel that there does not need to be a Council that sets any rules and laws persay, I do believe that there needs to be a "standard set" of *guidelines* of accepted gor. This will allow People to go from home to home knowing they will be able to rp in there, without fear of abuse or harm IF they follow the guidelines. To do this the Person must have a idea of what their Char can and cannot do. I hear all the time that No One is willing to teach, to teach you need people to listen! Gor is Gor..

wasn't questioning anything anyone was doing Robak I was just just wondering if I couldn't find a quote My self and was a challenge to Myself and to My slaves. so just asked. I agree with Robak a slave owns nada how ever if owner wanted slave to care for his/her pet that would be ok . I would caution tho what the pet would be common sense says any gorean animal that could or would eat a gorean wouldn't be a pet

i role play a giani but He isn't mine and i'm sure to include in my role play somewhere that He is my Masters and He has allowed me to take care of Him...or something like that. The Kaiila i'm leaving out of my role play after i researched them i just feed Him as that is my job.

I have a giani and a species of monkey (jit) that is palm sized when it grows to adult hood. Although there is no specific mention of finger monkeys in the Gorean series, there is mention of "many species" of the critters, so it is not far fetched that they exist. I looked them up on line and they are just ADORABLE! ....so I'm keeping Mine. If I allow My slave to take care of either of them, that's My choice. I live in the city so My kaiilla is boarded at the city stables.
