[09:34a] Bart It has now been well over a day and no response from Port Olni, so after a short sleep in camp, I had a meeting with the Captains and gave the go ahead for the first escalation. A single Archer was called upon to send a message. The order was given and off he went.
[09:36a] Bart As the Archer made his way to his assigned location, I shook my head as I walked to Stupid, taking a moment to ensure he was brushed, fed and ready before mounting and riding off again to the river, where I would give an additional order.
[09:40a] Bart It was moments before a flurry of activity began around the port. Bells, people scattered as the Archer dipped the arrow in oil on his way to his post, then fired it off into the port, striking the side of a smaller ship. The flaming arrow hit the sun deck, sticking straight up as it began to spread flame across the deck. Then another arrow, also lit (kinda like me on Saturday nights!) and hit the same ship, this time along the port side. And finally another arrow.
[09:41a] Bart 3 total arrows loosed across the morning sky, striking the same ship in different places before the Archer was located and a pursuit began. And so the seal of peace broken in the Port of Olni, hopefully the final.
[09:42a] Bart I disappeared into the horizon and would return later, the Captains knowing exactly what they are to do if a retaliation occurs.
A message delivered states that the previous request for a face-to-face meeting still stands. To avoid futher aggression and the downfall of the City of Port Olni, it is required that a meeting takes place.
