I think I am the luckiest girl in the world. I have two jobs I love. I am working on a degree that I love. I have this kid that is just the most precious thing in the world (to me). I have a family that will always make sure that I at least have a roof over my head.
Yes, I've had to and continue to make loads of sacrifices...
...but, the last few days I have felt *so* loved, special, and appreciated. All the birthday wishes. All of the people, all of the time that people made for me. All of the thoughtful gestures!!!
It was overwhelming in a wonderful way. I made it through like half of a week of people celebrating my birthday.
I made it through Halloween.
Now, I am entirely spent and need to retreat to my quiet and private place. Please excuse me and by all means - take some cake home with you. (I got three for my birthday this year!!!)
