[08:43p] malih sputtered and coughed as she staggered through the water nearing the shore, gasping for breath. Her dress clung to young curves, the white ribbon in her hair hanging uselessly off darkened chocolate locks. Pearly teeth chattered unnoticed as she forged through water, finally reaching the beach.
[08:51p] malih lifted the hem of what had been her white dress, its waterlogged condition requiring great effort to lift. Stumbling across the sand, she fell, loose grains clinging to her cheek and hands. She was tired, still so tired and as she tried to push herself up, she tried to shake the fog from her thoughts. She was missing a slipper and lost her footing again, tumbling into the sand.
[08:51p] malih : Too much work...
[09:02p] malih lay in the sand shivering. She tried to call out, but no sound came. She was vaguely aware the sun was setting as eyes of deep blue drifted shut.
