At a recent seminar in Ottawa, Ontario, a lady stood up and questioned the Metis National Council president Clement Chartier with a very valid qestion with regard to metis, and the existence of metis in the east. She was essentially told that she was not his kind.
Through the celebration of Harry Daniels's great win on April 14th 2016 at the Supreme Court of Canada, Harry Daniels vs Canada, (http://www.cbc.ca/news/aboriginal/metis-indians-supreme-court-ruling-1.3535236) high praises were made of Harry Daniels, yet they still failed to accept his dream.

So, Mr. Chartier, where is your arguement? We the metis that do not come from the Red River roots, want to know why you don't believe in coast to coast to coast metis people, as you mention on your website.
