We are currently working on Buzzen Groups, which will allow users to set up a group much like the old MSN Group Pages. We are interested in knowing what you would like to see included in groups. Give us your ideas and we will try to incorporate them.

My biggest issue is i'm not sure i remember all the options MSN Groups had. I wasn't a big msn group person. So the more information i can get the better.

MSN Groups were just message board with a chat room, weren't they?

MSN Groups allowed people to create up to 300 pages, decorate them with an assortment of backgrounds and also to store and place images. They did contain message boards, similar to bloggers andthey each had a chat room contained within. The major feature that attracted so many folks to use MSN was the fact that a group could be made without any techy knowledge. It was pretty much point, click, drag and a site looked as good as any other internet sites around.

There are many people who would join Buzzen if this feature was available to them. I would leave out the private chat room and have them open one on Buzzen itself. From all i have heard the license or copyright or whatever on the MSN technology has expired so people have used in and attempted to duplicate it. as cherish said, don't try to reinvent it, just do it like it was and make a nice support addition to the improved Buzzen

the more options the better

I would move my group over to buzzen groups in a heartbeat, especially if its set up similarly to how msn had theirs set up. I agree with Katya though, the private chat room within the group, really not necessary. A lot of the forums that are out there are complicated and confusing. All I would suggest is to make the groups as easy to use as possible. I think that would bring people in from all over. Wishing the programmers the best of luck. Looking forward to this very much!

Simple is better so make the options easy. I agree with no private chat room within the group. That is a waste of time and effort. I would also suggest a more "pronounced" promotion of the groups and a short blurp of what they are about. Maybe rotate groups on a daily or weekly basis so every one gets a fair amount of time on the front page.
Thanks for working so hard on this! It's appreciated very much!

I have a chat room that is g rated and family safe that you all are welcome to join. I don't allow porn or things like that in it. Also I am in a 12 step; recovery program for 35 years now. Will add link to chat room here.
