I am fortunate to be married to a beautiful and loving wife.  We met by pure coincidence and randomness when all the planets aligned.  Throughout our marriage, we saved each other from the vissicitude of life.    I am lucky to have a wife with whom I share my aspirations with.  It was excrutiangly difficult to raise six children, but by providence we accomplished it, and watched as our children grew up and started their own journies.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 I was abandoned at two and adopted by the age of three by a loving family who were driven to give me a good childhood.  I grew up in the Philippines and miss my friends.  My father and I explored jungles and found islands that had a kaleidescope of marine life and coral.  I hope people will never find the islands so they can thrive in perpetuity untouched by human hands.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

I  had the distinct honor of serving in the US Army.  My career varied as I was in Helicopter, Tank, Finance, and Budget units.  It gave me an opportunity to create the culuture of my units where trust, dignity, and respect prevailed.  It was incumbent on me to help soldiers grow professionally and personally.  My deployments included Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait.  I met some mighty good people in the Army.                

What was she thinking as she gave me photo albums of my youth.  She gave me a labored smile and looked at me as i said goodbye.  Little did I know she would disappear from my life forever.
