He knew Him for a short time and in that time he learned a lifetime of knowledge. How to be stern but fair, how not to judge without patience and understanding, how to lead without discrimination and mostly how to laugh at oneself.

      The Builder could not let his friend not be remembered, so he secured a small piece of land in the public gardens, cleared a small area of a ten hort diameter circle and set to task in his usual way, from memory and bits of rence that he drew upon. He had a Builder friend join him and after his explanations to him they set upon the memorial.

     Thin granite outlines the circle and thin lines edging the pie slice pattern lead in with the matching marble colors of light greys. Eight slices if you will each having a meaning..honor, integrity, peace, fortitude, life, love, happiness and guidance lead into the center circle where a four hort in height column stands empty for now. 

     Four outer eight hort Tuscan columns, smooth and simple in their elegant way, supporting gentle arches which in turn support a dome with the same dimensions as the granite and marble base beneath it, and an oculus in that dome to let in sun as well as starlight. The structure itself open all around, airy and free with its soft natural curves to match the gardens around it.

     Both Builders carried the bust of Sar Cabot carefully and fitted it upon the short column in the center, directly under the oculus...he sculpted the bust from portraits he had access to. A handsome, weather worn face looking out at anyone with the softest and most patient expression, the robe of his Caste open at the collar and gently cascades down the column about a third of the way. So He will never know darkness they fitted soft energy bulbs along the tops of the main columns that will go on at dusk and off at dawn.

    A small brass plaque bearing Cabots name was the last item added at the outside of this open portico..." Sar Cabot of Ven'dara, founder and the forever beating heart of this city, we honor and thank you."
