Reality

Sometimes life is like you are sitting inside a workshop building a snow globe. You spend hours trying to find the perfect pieces to fit into the right place, a house, a tree, maybe even little figurines that display the joy of the season or a theme you have built for them on top of the wooden platform.

You spend so much time helping to create this world that in some strange way you feel like you are actually a part of it. Each piece blends in perfectly and you think that you can somehow belong in that world till the glass is lowered onto the wooden platform and secured into place. That is when the harsh reality of it hits you- you were never meant to be a part of it. All that was needed was your time and dedication to finishing it and once it was done, there is a layer of glass separating you completely from that world.

The reality is-there will always be that glass even if we can’t see it and sometimes we learn the lesson the hard way when we try to fit in where we were never meant to be.

I am an introvert, a dreamer, a shoulder to lean on, even a stepping stone for others as they pass me by, maybe even a friend but I also don't know how to be anything else.

 I am simply the woman who writes creepy stories and I guess for now that needs to be enough.

Honestly I wish I could have a drink right now.
