Before anyone decides to second guess any of the writings that people post on here about Gor or anything else think about this...in all the books that are written about Gor, does it explain everything to do with everyone that could possibly exist on Gor right down to what they know or do behind closed doors. It would be like writing a huge series of books on Earth itself and then telling people, well if it isn't written in the books then it couldn't possibly happen. I think that the books are a great foundation to build on but no one should limit themselves solely to what the books entail and simply write as many are doing, from your own personal perspective of what your character experiences in your own way. If anyone has issues with any of it, tell them to stick it where the sun does not shine because they do not control or dictate your happiness.

I write spooky, creepy paranormal stories and now I have included my personal take on what I think would be considered spooky in Gor and despite the challenges and research, it is an interesting route to take with my writing.  If you get your panties in a twist over them, the easiest way to solve that is ...you got it, don't read them. You will not hurt any of our feelings if you don't because we know there are many who appreciate what we all do and we are going to keep supporting each other.

If you have not taken the time to read the blogs of Melete, Kilirniku, Elizabeth, Alexander, Ortossi, Myself and ara if she decides to post again as well as any others who choose to join you are missing out on some very creative talented writing. If you find it difficult to keep up in the blogs, hop over to groups where a lot of us post them as well and read at your own pace. We all appreciate your support but we do it for our love of writing, the fact that others like it is just the icing on the cake.

By the way, the paranormal does not simply affect those who believe in it and avoid others because they don't ...it does not respect feelings or boundaries. Something to keep in mind.
