Kalina◊FW I let out a slow even breath as the ship slipped into the berth...I ran both hands through my wet hair then pulled the hood of the cloak up to cover my features. I wasn't sure how things where in the city, I had been gone for so long. Maybe I wasn't welcome anymore..though I had to think of all of my belongings still stationed on the land Bart had given me. If they could be seen, my dark eyes would have been cloudy with memories, forehead knit with worry.Kalina◊FW it seemed like a lifetime since I had been here...so much had changed...I thought as I headed up to the street...the captain of the ship would speak to the dock master..I could hear the heavy steps of the guards behind me..My mood had been sullen the last few days...the closer we got the more I had drawn into thought...slowly I made my way through town and out to the land..I could hear the bleating of the bosk..the sound was welcoming..as I opened the door to the cabin I could smell the smoke of a new fireKalina◊FW a few slave girls I didn't recognize bustled around..lighting lamps, starting fires and putting fresh linens in the rooms...this brought a slight smile to my face as I shucked off the cloak hanging it on the hook and entered the room...making my way to one of the soft chairs by the fire I sat and relaxed...some food and a good nights sleep and I would see what was going on in the morning..
