It occurs to me that a chat room is a lot like the movie Forrest Gump.
A person who has had incredible obstacles to overcome in their life can tell their story. Most listen...some empathize...a few will ridicule, imply that person is lying and walk off to spread their ignorance (never knowing the complexities and content in their ignorance). The few who stay and actually interact find their lives enriched in ways they never could have imagined. But in the end, it is an adventure.
Why was Gump so successful? It wasn't because he listened to the negative people...it was because he did what he knew best. He was himself.

There are members of Society that will always try to put you in a "BOX". You need to do what is right for you and find that "thing" that you do best. If you are extroverted, go into Sales. If you are curious about how things work, become an Engineer or a Doctor. If you enjoy playing video games all day, become a Programmer. Even if you aren't really good at anything, become a Politician. There is always a place for you when you do your best. Just don't break the law, or Society has a special "BOX" for you. And do it before you end up in the final "BOX". ~Me
