SET US ALL FREE

INFUSE US WITH BLOOD OF TRUE COMMUNITY

Look it up sometime, if you cared about what was taught in school you might be smarter than you are now. I logged in a few minutes ago to see a warning against racism pop up on my screen. Not sure where i was being racist in those educational posts which are no longer here because the staff deleted them, I went to the helpdesk to ask the what and why. All they said was that they deemed it racist, and no further explanation would be given. I thanked them for their time, and left. Now, I do understand that there are rules here, and they'll be abided by or else one doesn't get to use this place.

So, in lieu of the admin/staff giving me an explanation, I would like instead someone else to offer me one. So, please tell me where I suddenly turned into a raging racist troll. I'm not angry, just confused as to decisions made, and the lack of explanations on how not to make the same alleged mistake. I just don't see how an education and pointing out proper responsibility is bad. I don't think i really made a mistake, but once in a while i'm actually wrong...so point it out, if you can.

Everything i said could be easily found in Wikiland, if one chooses to go look for it. Fact are facts, I just tossed them out there. I guess I'm a fascist for pointing at history and saying "Lookie here, folks!" Maybe it was the pyramid comment? Who knows.

And the fact is the rules in this platform are fluid. You're reprimand depends on which side of the bed a power that be woke up on and what kind of mood they're in. This place is dying... not only Gor but the rest of it too. There will always be die-hards that keep it open - but hell there are still 3 or 4 people in GCN too. This is what happens when one lets their emotions dictate what any given rule might be on any given day.

"It's free, right ? Actually it isn't " free". Someone pays for all this, either in advertising dollars or maintenance and so on." The money for the Buzzen Supported Rooms that Users create goes toward that very thing, upkeep of the system. I used to have a paid room here but I let it expire without renewing it for ONE reason, one reason alone. That being that I will NOT monetarily support ANY platform that randomly censors free speech. Ballots change governments but dollars change businesses.

Someone had offered some months ago to buy a room for me but i declined, based on the lack of a population here, among other things. This recent happening only reinforces my decision. I know this place has its own rules, but once in a while i wish they were rational about it. And willing to explain why i got one and the actual racist probably didn't.

In the end Outlaw, it's the advertisers that run this joint. It stopped being a place for free thinkers when they insisted on modifying rules for content. But ironically, the smut ads have doubled and complaining about those gets one no where.

I got hit with a blog being deleted and the threat of banishment from Buzzen by one of the SysOps because of My expressed views. Since My hands were otherwise tied I was left with only one real choice, which was whether or not to give them more of My money to support their platform. I chose not to simply because I was given no real and reasonable explanation of the facts beyond "if you don't like how Buzzen works, there's the door." I've not left yet but that's only because of a few friends.

I've seen a few other chat options and they're not very appealing, but if push comes to shove then rp in this place as far as i'm concerned will stop. I don't have but perhaps two or three friends left here, and they don't come into rooms all that much; the most I might see is an updated profile once in a while. This isn't a bad place, really, but there needs to be some logic to go with the rules. It's like they're scared to deal with something just because it has race related thoughts.

And when they do deal with it, they choose the minority and chew on the person being factual, never mind the profanity and bile. And don't give explanations, like they're dealing with little kids. I don't remember it being this way in years past, but i guess things change. Well with this treatment they're not getting any blood out of this turnip. I ought to be grateful they took a stand at all, i just wish they'd have chosen facts over politics.
