[07:16p] malih lifted sapphire eyes to the sky noting the position of Lar-Torvis nearing her right. Evening would come soon and she'd need to find shelter. She'd been grateful for the fresh water the stream provided, though it was a much longer stream than the one in the gardens. She felt like she'd been following it for weeks.

[07:19p] malih had become lonely. She missed Ilithia and the others she'd grown with and wanted only to go back there. She'd tried to get the person on the beach to help her, but he only lay there, sleeping, saying nothing at all.

[07:21p] malih The person she'd seen in the waterfall had been gone when she woke. Or maybe she'd imagined someone there. Her head had throbbed when she stood and she felt dizzy and queasy. The fire water was water gone bad, she thought. She'd only drink that in an emergency.

[07:25p] malih had found a few other things along the sands. The bag had been heavy, washing up on the shore, and filled with beautiful fabric. Gossamer sheets of periwinkle, scarlet, sunshine, and emerald. She'd laid it out like she had the paper, letting the fabric dry. She only wished there'd been enough of it to make a dress from.

[07:27p] malih The knife had been a gift, too. It's handle was of black pearl and etched with the letters P.K. No matter that she couldn't stomach killing animals for food. It was a pretty knife and she'd kept it anyway.

[07:31p] malih had kept the bag, fabric, writing box, knife, and bag of coins, and despite the pack's weight, had climbed from the shore to where the water fell and followed it. She didn't know how long now. She despaired of finding home having encountered no one since her friends at the beach. She walked durng the day before finding a place to rest, easing the pack from her shoulders as she did now.

[07:33p] malih settled beneath a tree listening to the river's water flowing. She'd opened the pack, carefully pulling the writing box from it as if it contained unimaginable treasure. She pulled a fresh piece of somewhat wrinkled paper from it with the quill and ink pot, and began writing about the day and the change in the land. Ilithia would be so pleased when she read all that she'd written.
