~~throughout the morning at the Pavilion ebediyet had watched the Lady Madie as she had been busy going through the books and scrolls of Veylar Estates...as she entered the room carrying the Lady favorite glass of chilled ramberry juice...girl could see her was tired from all the reading...but she had kept right on working...as girl approached the Lady she gracefully lowered herself as she folded down easily resting her buttocks on her heels knees kissing...she held the glass between her soft palms...before lifting it above her head...offering it to the Lady...the Lady smiled down on her then pulled her readers from her face...she rubbed her face in the palms of her hand before she lifted her head...
~~she extended her hand wrapping her slender fingers around the base of the glass gripping it firmly so the ramberry juice wouldn't spill...in a tired voice she said "Thank You ebediyet" girl relaxed her arms then spoke in a mild tone "ebediyet hopes the drink will be refreshing to you..you looked tired" the Lady smiled down upon her then asked "I would like to speak with ya about possibly hiring you to clean at Veylar Manor unless your billet is already full, or you have an aversion to being used by Free Women. (in an industrial capacity only, chika, lol!) Would I have to speak with your Guardian?"
~~ebediyet replied "yes Mistress no...girl means she does not need to ask for girl was told to serve and please...to which girl would be happy to assist you in cleaning up your Estate" then offers back a lovely smile to the Lady then asked politely "Lady what sort of cleaning do you need??" the Lady replied "It's mostly inside the manor house itself. I have a Builder crew there renovating for My return when the weather warms and I start My new training (new caste). They are updating some office space on the first floor, adding features to My sleeping chambers and expanding the kitchen. You know Men aren't the tidiest of creatures, so I anticipate lots of boot tracks, hand prints, outside debris brought inside, and construction stuff left all over the place."
~~"I dunno if I can do the cleaning that would be required to keep Veylar Manor spic and span, so I was wondering if you would be up to taking on the challenge? You do a very nice job for that Tavern and Inn that you are serving. I would of course pay what the fee is for your service either to your Guardian or Whomever uh...handles ya. So, whadaya say?
~~ebediyet listened to what the Lady had to say then answered "yes Lady...Master Ridge you would have to pay and he will divide it up with Master Harold Owner of the Paga Den & Inn" then looked up blue eyes sparkling smiling...the Lady added "The manor home is Veylar Estates, about 7 passangs outside of Fort Haskins, in the Boswell Pass. There is a stone wall encompassing the Estate. The gate is a 200 yards off the main market road on the right hand side. The gate Guard's name is Hector. When you get inside the gate, follow the cobbled lane that curves to the left and the first home You get to, is Mine. The ancestral home is closed until I can figure out what I want done with it. Carmel will show ya where the supplies are. She's caretaker of the home until I return." ebediyet took in all the infromation the Lady offered and the lil bond smiled wider and stated "got you will try and please you with the cleaning may take a couple of days so will work it to the best of girl ability" "Thank you girl you are dismissed the sooner the better have a good day" "like wise Lady may today bring much laughter and smiles" ebediyet replied then rose up fromher kneel patted down her kirtle turned to the door...

ut the door she went...skipping down the stairs reaching the dirt road...leading her to the Ladies private Estate girl followed the directions to a tee it was a good hike but ebediyet was enjoying being outside she just had to keep alert so not to get captured again...the stone wall was beautiful the colors popped...she came to the Market Road the Lady mentioned...ahead she saw the Guard Hector and told him the Lady sent her to clean and would be around about 3 days he motioned her on...she opened the big door to the dwelling...once she arrived she wiped the dust from her feet before entering and walking on her pretty wooden floors...
~~she didn't want to leave her dusty foot prints along the floor but noticed all the big boot prints the Lady told her about painting the floor...with each stride her tiny feet kissing against the grain of the wood floor...the builders noise stillness in the house with each hammer bang.as she walked towards the Ladys bedroom..today girl would strip the Lady's bed wash and dry her linen broom her floor...and dust everything up...
~~she turned the knob then pushed the door open...her sapphire eyes quickly glancing around the room before lowering herself into a squat so she could prop the door open with the small rock....she stood up straight then turned to walk towards the bed just then Woman Carmel came in and told ebediyet where the cleaning supplies were and told her there will be lunch prepared...ebediyet nodded and thanked her...
~~she pulled the linen from the bed when the Woman left and pillows then took them outside where she would build a fire to warm the water in the big black kettles...she moved back and forth carrying buckets of rain water from the barrels to the kettles until they were filled...the fire was a blazing... flames were coming up the side...girl knew to be careful so she wouldn't get burnt...
~nce the two kettles of water were warming girl found a tub like container that would be used to pre-soak the linen... this was to whiten the linen before washing them...she filled the tub about ankle deep with stale urine...known as "wash" this was a source of ammonium salts and assisted in cleansing and whitening the cloth...she cleansed her feet then stomped stomped and stomped around on the linens working them with the (wash)
~~she then lifted them to make sure they were free of any stains...by now the waters from the kettles were warm....girl transferred the water into two smaller tubs she added lavender and soapy flakes to the first tub then wring the linens free of the (wash) and transferred them to this tub...once the water was cool enough she cleansed her feet with a clean rep cloth and began to work the linen with her feet...she pulled them from the water to make sure they were free of any stains...then wring them out and rinsed them thoroughly before wringing them out to hang on the cloths line...girl could smell the fresh lavender aroma as she inhaled deeply...once they were on the line to dry...she emptied out all of the tubs and kettles..before going inside.
~~she headed back into the bedroom..to broom the floor...there wasn't much to sweep up the builderd done a great job...they kept her room very neat...she then took a clean rep cloth and dusted everything down bringing it to a fresh look.. she went to the flower bed and cut some fresh flowers...putting them in vases throughout the room...by the time girl had finished freshening up the room...the linens were dry...she made the Lady a fresh bed to sleep on...fluffed up her pillows...she turned moving towards the door...before leaving she smelled the vase of fresh flowers...turned to look around the room to make sure everything was done...her lips curled into a sweet smile thinking oO( the Lady would have a clean room to come home and rest in) leaving the bedroom to go get lunch before tackling another room...
