Once again you bend the rules to suit your purpose. Let's just stick to the basics.
"Shelving": The act of shelving is defined as bringing back an already dead/retired character. Once a character is retired it may not be ressurected again, it is for all intents and purposes gone.
Returning: The conditions for returning from time away for death or retirements are as follows. One must choose a new name, new Caste, and new Home. They may not Lead a home, return to their old Home, Station, Free Companion, slaves, nor train for the Caste they had in the previous Character life for at least a period of three months(earth time).

It’s more like... this a game. These are the rules. If you cheat you are dishonourable. It’s not... let’s make up our own rules now that I’ve already broken them and people have called me out for them.
No I am not changing a definition I am stating a definition...saying what something is and no I am not defending any point of view nor considering any persona nor situation...I am pointing out that we have terms that reflect the issue why add one that has to be forced to make it fit...to me it does not make sense
I’m not changing the definition of anything. I’m trying to explain to you, in the simplest terms possible, the definition in relation to a role play rule. If you don’t like how it was put together so many years ago or want to disagree with those who out together, debate their thought process or anything of the sort or want a different word put in its place then by all means crack on and make a suggestion.
grinz...I am not sure what crack on means...is it a derogatory salvo that belittles my attempt to explain to you that the term has a meaning and to apply a different meaning to a rule makes no sense when terms already exist that provide explanation of the rule. I am not disagreeing with the rule nor the intent of the rule, but with the term itself.. which by itself provides a defense.
BTW...since I hold 2 masters degrees and a post graduate degree..simple is not necessary... it implies a level of stupidity which needs a childlike explanation
Crack on ... go for it ... proceed. I don't need to talk in riddles to belittle anyone it’s far simpler just to call a dick a dick.
I see and is that what you are doing now...calling me a dick...I have been respectful in my posts and responses with no malice toward any point of view....I had hoped that an open and honest discussion was possible...perhaps i was wrong
In any case we have made our points and provided worthy discussion... I wish you well and bid you a good day
No. That isn’t what I’m doing. At no point did I say you are a dick. I said I don’t belittle people, it is simply easier just to call a dick a dick.
smiles....alrighty...understood
